Text is an old fascination for Karen. Here she is incorporating a written peek into her thought process with an exploration of texture, pattern and compressed space. This series was created while Karen was Artist In Residence at The Morgan Conservatory in 2022. She worked with Vandercook letterpresses and a vast collection of wood type.
